Michelle Kotzurek

An Experience Designer and Problem-solver.

I have an insatiable curiosity that drives me to ask questions like "Why do people behave the way they do?", "What motivates serial killers?", or even "What's the deal with my parents' smart TV that made them stop using it altogether?"

My fascination with human behavior led me to pursue a career as a social worker. Through years of experience, I gained valuable skills in communication, organization, empathy, and active listening. Most importantly, I learned how to collaborate effectively, even when faced with significant differences and challenges.

After a couple of years in the field, I became increasingly intrigued by the endless possibilities of technology. This fascination propelled me into the world of interaction design. I'm amazed at how designers can use their work to evoke emotions and influence human behavior. Fast forward three years, and I'm now a UX designer, armed with a diverse set of skills to solve problems.

When I'm not engrossed in my work or bombarding people with questions, you'll likely find me immersed in a captivating book. Fantasy and thrillers have been my recent favorites. I also enjoy spending time in nature, going on adventures with my playful four-legged companion, Pixi. I also have a wide range of hobbies—around 500, to be exact—that keep me entertained and engaged.
